More than 80 people attended the launch of TTIcodes, held at Anite's offices in Slough. Presentations were made by Peter Dennis, TTI's Chairman; Andreas Posmeck, Managing Director, GIATA GmbH and Peter Hazel, TTI's TTIcodes Project Manager. The proceedings were moderated by Paul Richer of Genesys.
Peter Dennis presented on the background to TTIcodes, benefits and pricing. Andreas Posmeck talked about GIATA, his company's extensive experience in managing the type of database that will be required for TTIcodes and the role they will now play as TTI's service partner for this initiative. Peter Hazel showed how TTIcodes will work in practice and gave a hands-on demonstration of the web utility that will be used to access the database. He also showed the XML messaging that can be used as an alternative to the web utility.
Delegates present raised a number of very pertinent questions that were addressed by the TTIcodes team. The launch concluded with a buffet lunch kindly sponsored by GIATA.
