Blockchain – Reinventing Travel Industry Settlement

Webinar - Thu 29 April 2021 - 11:00 to 12:00 (UK)

Travel Ledger is the electronic invoice and remittance system for all intra-travel industry, non-air travel transactions.  It has blockchain as its core technology.

Most travel companies deal with thousands of trade invoices and payments a month. On average, for every 4 hours of airline reconciliation, the industry does 40 hours of non-air reconciliation. That is set to change.  What has been missing is a simple, standardised platform to lodge all non-air transactions with counterparties in a similar manner to BSP for air.

Travel Ledger is arguably the most important application of Blockchain within travel.  Several years in development and now close to launch, it will simplify and revolutionise the way in which players within the industry exchange financial data and settle payments between themselves, so building an “Ecosystem of Trust”.

In this webinar, you will hear from Roberto Da Re, Founder, why he and his fellow founders took the decision to develop Travel Ledger as a Blockchain application, how development has proceeded and how Travel Ledger will truly benefit the travel industry with “trust” at its core.
